Medical Education Programs in Canada and USA started the New Year 2019 with the Levee at Ontario Parliament at the party hosted by the Lieutenant General of Ontario.
MAJOR CHANGES IN MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESIDENCY IN CANADA AND USA
As we reflect on 2018 we look forward to what 2019 will bring. There will be major changes in premedical, medical and residency matching and practice ready as the new rule 2023 starts. Only medical students from properly regionally accredited schools will be allowed to match and practice in Canada and USA. Medical Education Advising has only partnered with top schools in USA, UK, Europe, Australia and top schools that are regionally accredited in Caribbean region so we will just continue our successful program unaffected. Beware of premedical programs that partner with non-accredited schools under the 2023 and medical schools that try to mislead students in order to obtain a few more semesters of tuition. You can come for free to discuss this issue with us if you are not sure about which schools are accredited or not under the new rule. And what a year it was! With challenges and many successes, with big events such as opening a new campus in midtown Toronto and small joyous moments, with incredible success of each and every of our pre-med, pre-dental, pre-optometry, pre-pharmacy and international medical graduates success!
With MCCEE being phased out and replaced by MCCQE1 exam residency matching in Canada changed for IMGs and is getting closer to CSAs one.
