Students from all over the world attend its program and we are thrilled to partner with the global health champion medical school. MSIH accepts prerequisite courses taken in Toronto from Medical Ediucation Advising prerequisite list.

 

In 1996, in affiliation with Columbia University’s Health Sciences Division, USA the Faculty of Health Sciences at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev instituted a four-year medical degree program to graduate doctors with special skills in primary care and community, preventive, and population-based medicine. The Medical School for International Health is a four year, North American-style medical school that incorporates global health coursework into all four years of the medical school curriculum. The mission of the Medical School for International Health (MSIH) is to address the need for medical education that focuses on the interface between global health and community and preventive medicine.

 

 

Elena Soukhov, a third year student at Ben-Gurion University’s Medical School for International Health from Toronto, is the winner of the MSIH inaugural Research Award.  Elena is excited about her participation in IVF research at Soroka University Medical Center, the major teaching facility for MSIH students
