Transfers into 3rd year of BSc in USA
Students who complete Royal Crown College’s 92-credit program can get direct acceptance in year 3 of D’Youville or Mount Aloysius BSc. This partnership will allow also our students to complete their pre-requisite courses with Royal Crown and obtain a BSc from USA. They will save 1 year as well as tuition and living expenses. Thus they will be able to apply to Canadian medical, dental and other health care schools as well to USA schools that require a year or more of study in USA and all USA schools that accept international students.
Transfer into 3rd year of BSc at Mount Aloysius College, USA
Mount Aloysius College (MAC) accepts RCCBT 92 credit graduates into their 3rd year of Biology Pre-Health 4 year program in which MAC has articulation agreements with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Dental Medicine (4 year program), Osteopathic Medicine (4 year program) and Pharmacy (3 or 4 year programs). There is a separate admissions process with LECOM in which qualified MAC students get early acceptance.
Transfer into 3rd year of BSc at D’ Youville University
Students from Royal crown College who complete Royal Crown College’s 92-credit program can get direct acceptance in year 3 of D’Youville Bachelor of Science if they have a GPA of B or higher. Graduates from the 92 credit diploma from Royal Crown College who meet academic and admission requirements by RCC and D’Youville College University will be guaranteed priority consideration in the final admission decision to any health care programs. Tuition for RCC students is the same as for US students and all RCC students will receive a 20% tuition waiver and automatically reviewed for an academic transfer student scholarship of $4000/year for GA 3-3.49 and $5000/year for GPA 3.5-4.
Transfer into second year of university to fulfill Ottawa University School of Medicine requirements
Applicants who have obtained a pre-medical diploma from Royal Crown College of Business and Technology must complete in addition two years of full-time studies (minimum of five full year courses each year) in an undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s degree in a recognized university, including the necessary prerequisite courses in order to apply to University of Ottawa medical school. The college studies of a candidate who obtained a diploma will be recognized as being equivalent to one year of postsecondary university studies.
