Workshop 14 on Research experience for Medical School application

Models of Human Diseases monthly workshop on medical school application that took place on August 22nd aas a great success. The two hour free workshop featured a step by step guide to get the best research experience during the next school year and summer with Drs Silverman , an information session of Atlantic University School of Medicine presented by Dr. Walcot-Vassel, and a  presentations by Sean Cai, a recently admitted medical student with tips and his personal journey to University of Toronto Medical School, Mississauga campus. Flowers for Diseases- August Is Skin cancer and sunflower month

Models of Human Diseases is initiating the Flowers for disease project with an awareness month dedicated to a diseases and a flower symbol! This month we acknowledge Skin cancer with sunflower as symbol. If you want to support our campaign forward the brochure to friends and family, take pics of sunflowers and share them with a few words about Models of Diseases Flower for Diseases project. Thank you! During the 2010 International Conference Models of Human Diseases we had ALS awareness and cornflower as symbol and we gave away seeds for participants to plant in their garden and take pictures.
