Models of Human Diseases participated in City-United-Partners in Change at Hart House, U of Toronto. Our group proposed over 15 projects in education, social and financial justice, environment, health, networking, multifaith areas.

On May 11, 2011 Models of Human Diseases took part in Science Rendezvous. Vineet, Mary, Julieta and Zeba were the team leaders for this event and joined Dr. Silverman in presenting the activities of our group to kids, students, visitors that brave the cold weather and joined U of Toronto in this fantastic science awareness event!

On May 11, 2011 Models of Human Diseases took part in Science Rendezvous. Workshop 11 on extracurricular activities

On May 8th, 2013 we had a workshop on extracurricular activities that can turn your compliant application in an outstanding one. We had also invited speakers  Dr. Adam Gurau , family medicine resident, U of Toronto and Jegan Jegathesan, Pathology resident, McMaster University who shared their personal stories of journey to residency from medical school at St George’s University and the story of medical school student Elliott Gordon, an outstanding student with great research, community service,  and scholar activities. The workshop featured a great talk about St. George’s University School of Medicine, presented by Kristen Viola, Assistant Director Northeastern U.S. & Canada.
